Italian Espresso Coffee: The Real Thing!

Real Italian Espresso Coffee should have a thick, striped creamy froth, a powerful body, strong sweetness and a hint of bitterness. It should fill the nose with its open, floral aromas, closing with a lingering intense perfume which caresses our senses for two hours.
This was how my grandfather Francesco Illy saw things in 1934 when he invented and patented history’s first Espresso machine. And this is how it should still be today.
