The AMICI blend combines the best Arabica coffees: nine ingredients selected from South and Central America, Asia and Africa. The cocoa notes and full-bodiedness of South American coffees, the elegant acidity and ripe fruit and caramelised sugar of Central American beans, the bouquet of jasmine and freshness of African Arabicas, and finally the spicy and dried fruit notes of Asian coffees.
The amalgamation of the blend ingredients gives the coffee a smooth and complex taste, with a distinct sweetness and a pleasant, fragrant acidity that complements the bitterness of the roast. The structure of the coffee is given by a silky, velvety body, which invites you to discover the coffee sip after sip, and ensures that the coffee aroma lingers long after the last sip. The aftertaste is first roasted hazelnuts, then evolves into sultanas and candied orange peel, for an experience that lasts long after the coffee is finished.

To mark its 40th anniversary, Amici Caffè is launching a new collection of cups in exclusive collaboration with the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Design & Arts. Previously, the students submitted their creations to us and we put them on our website. The community had the possibility to choose their favourites. The four subjects of this MOU anniversary collection were chosen as winners.
The story of Dammann Frères
In 1692, King Louis XIV granted "Sieur Damame" the exclusive privilege of selling tea in France. A good 230 years later, the brothers Robert and Pierre Dammann founded the company Dammann Frères. The tea lover Jean Jumeau-Lafond, who had a lasting influence on the history of Dammann Frères, greatly changed the previously weak French tea market in the 1940s. The beginning of a success story, because within 5 years tea from Dammann was sold in more than 1000 shops.
